Re: Anyone Installed UBUNTU 18.04.2 LTS if yes on which version ? MYTHTV version of mythtv ?

Hi, I installed Xubuntu when 18.04.2 LTS was released, then installed mythtv 0.29 via the PPA and restored my database. When mythtv 30 was released, upgraded via the PPA again. Haven't had any major problems that aren't specific to my hardware/setup. One gotcha is lirc if you intend to use it. I lik...

Re: Mythbuntu PPA 30 still gives "HERE BE DRAGONS" warning

I noticed the same thing about the warning in the Mythbuntu 30 PPA, but decided to upgrade via the PPA anyway. I did it a week ago, and the wife and kids haven't complained yet. It seems to be a little quicker in the menus etc too. I'm on Xubuntu 18.04.

Re: Improving your guide data in Australia

I've had a chance to play around with the XMLTV data from freepg.tv. This isn't a complete test as it's all in VM, with no tuners that I can connect to the VM's to test the actual recording (to confirm the start and end times are correct, although is that actually possible given the way the Aussie f...

Re: Improving your guide data in Australia

Hi, I've been using shepherd for years now and found it to be excellent. However I recently stumbled across the following website: http://au.freepg.tv/ I'm not sure if the data is any better (or worse), but if you can download the XMLTV data from a single source, and not have to apply multiple level...

I am not Sydney based (Brisbane), or a developer, but I'm interested in what changes you require in mythweb?

I hope this helps.
Thanks, it did. Got it going without too many hassles, main one being no hdmi audio in mythbuntu/xfce.

Re: MythTV on OpenELEC/XBMC

Using OpenELEC 4.0.2 with XBMC. Whenever I go to TV it says there are no PVRs enabled but it is enabled in my PVR Addons. I'm using an HDHomeRun Prime and XBMC and MythTV are on the same box. I have it the other way around with XBMC installed on Mythbuntu. It was fairly easy to set up. Screenshot1....
