What should I say ... now it works again!
The system did some automatic shutdowns/power-ups meanwhile. Don't know what happened there!?

Increasing parental controls level stops asking for pin
Hi, I just updated from 0.27.3 to 0.27.4 and, though I can not find anything related in the changelog, I wonder if the pin authentication of the parental control level is broken now. After initially being asked for the pin when increasing the parental control level, I now can switch them without bei...

Re: Key for SIGNALMON not working
I changed this of course, prior
I prefer to have "E" for EPG and "S" for SIGNALMON, instead of completely arbitrary letters as I can not remember this otherwise.

Re: Key for SIGNALMON not working
As my media keyboard does not have function keys at all, I already assigned "S".
I just tried it on a different (remote) frontend and there it works! ... well, it does not work, but at least something happens!
There the screen freezes until I press the SIGNALMON key again.

Key for SIGNALMON not working
Hi,
The feature titled SIGNALMON in the hotkey settings in TV Playback context is not working for me.
When pressing the assigned key when watching tv, simply nothing happens.
Any help?
Regards,
Nicolas

Re: Improve efficiency of tuner selection
After increasing the values for both dvb-c tuners from 1 to 3, my MythWeb status now looks like that: Encoder 2 [ DVB : /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0 ] is local on htpc7even and is not recording. Encoder 4 [ DVB : /dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0 ] is local on htpc7even and is recording 'Gute Zeiten, schle...

Re: Improve efficiency of tuner selection
Hey many thanks, this was on 1 for both of my tuners! But since I struggled with many problems and this is the second dvb-c card I put into this box, it is highly possible that I adjusted this away from default. For those that search this option as well: it is behind the button DE="Aufnahmeoptionen"...

Re: Improve efficiency of tuner selection
Is this a setting?
Because I am talking of a digital tuner: Digital Devices DUAL DVB-C/T (with two real DVB-C tuners)

Improve efficiency of tuner selection
Ok, so my first two threads here were of some minor wishes, now a more serious one: Most of my recording rules have some additional minutes appended at the end, because - at least here in germany - they are hardly needed. Now, it happens often that two subsequent broadcasts from the same channel ove...

Delete command in different menus
Well ... maybe this is not quite a feature suggestions, but it is a wish: The menu that is called via "MENU" aka "Pop-up menu" action from the global context contains the delete command for recordings. But in the video library it is not there... instead it is placed in the menu that is called via "I...

Re: Move files in video library
I think no one would complain if this feature would only be available in the file system emulated view. This also makes kind of sense for intuitive usage - if this would be displayed in a view grouped by some metadata like e. g. artist this would be confusing.

Move files in video library
Hi, MediaPortal had a small but cool feature to move files within the video library from one folder to another. This was a simple menu entry "Move" which applied to the currently selected file. This entry changed to "Paste here" afterwards. Little feature, huge improvement ... ;-) Would love to see ...
