Re: Channel icons

So why hasn't someone set up a repo for icons that could be downloaded without restrictions? Seems easy enough to do. As it is a lot of the icons from SD aren't even legible in the themes because they use the color black and it conflicts with the screen background color. CBS for instance is a black...

Re: libva error

Hmm, that sounds like a problem with the PPA.

This is the standard PPA for Ubuntu -> https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu/+archive/ubuntu/0.29

Re: libva error

It looks like the mythtv packages you have are built against the old libva libraries. You will need updated packages built against the newer libva

Re: Is MythTV stable on Ubuntu?

Ubuntu, normally the LTS variant is used by over 80% of our users, and is therefore by default our primary platform :)

Re: Black screen while playing recordings

Are you trying to use the new experimental OpenGL or the "legacy" GL?
The recommended one to use on an rPi at the moment is the "legacy" GL.

Re: Best Playback Profile for High Powered System

You have an NVIDIA card and therefore are most likely running the nvidia drivers, so use the VDPAU profile, as this offloads as much decoding as possible to the GPU, whilst the other profiles use the CPU for decoding. Then play with the deinterlacing setting to find the one you are happiest with. Re...

Re: 29+ Diseq Stetup

The diseq configuration has changed a bit, you have to add each card twice, once for each satellite.
So instead of ending up 4 inputs with 2 satellites, you have 8 inputs with 1 satellite, and the input groups
should automatically "work"

Re: UK FreeSAT Tuning Question...

There is a known issue which I haven't had a chance to look into yet, but for certain muxes
the channels are correctly detected as DVB, and then redetected as SCTE channels.

This certainly affects 5HD, and I believe that Pick is also affected.

Excellent! And that takes care of all of those frontend playback settings that I've long since forgotten why I selected them (but work)? ;)
Yep, they are stored in the database. Just make sure you keep the hostnames the same :)
