Re: 29+ Diseq Stetup

The diseq configuration has changed a bit, you have to add each card twice, once for each satellite.
So instead of ending up 4 inputs with 2 satellites, you have 8 inputs with 1 satellite, and the input groups
should automatically "work"

Re: UK FreeSAT Tuning Question...

There is a known issue which I haven't had a chance to look into yet, but for certain muxes
the channels are correctly detected as DVB, and then redetected as SCTE channels.

This certainly affects 5HD, and I believe that Pick is also affected.

Re: Intel VAAPI De-interlacing

We have never implemented de-interlacing via VAAPI. Would welcome any patches for this.

You didn't actually say what the problem was when it "broke"?

Excellent! And that takes care of all of those frontend playback settings that I've long since forgotten why I selected them (but work)? ;)
Yep, they are stored in the database. Just make sure you keep the hostnames the same :)

Re: HEVC Main 10 support via VAAPI in Linux with modern intel graphic

Hi,

That is not correct, MythTV has supported VAAPI for a long time.
Selecting OpenGL video output profile does not use VAAPI,
you need to set it up to use the `VAAPI Normal` profile.

Re: HEVC Main 10 support via VAAPI in Linux with modern intel graphic

Hi,

We already have VAAPI support, however it has stopped working under wayland on F26 and newer.
Please share the distro / x window system you are using, and the output of `vainfo`

Re: EPG weirdness

There will be one single program on some weird channel you probably don't watch, where the EPG monkeys have put in a place holder event whose end time is ~18days in the future :)

Re: Using DVI2HD converter from StarTech - no audio

Is this on a Raspberry Pi? If so you sometimes have to force the audio to use the hdmi output.

It's intentional on the part of Ubuntu. Fedora also did the same thing.

Do you have a full stack trace when that occurs?

Re: Killing mythtv backend does not actually kill it

There's also a bug open where the backend doesn't shutdown the first time it's asked to.
