Ah right - I see. Ok - I'll look into that then.

Thanks!

Re: Myth Shutdown Shortly After Waking

Hi Thanks for the reply - much appreciated. All system sleep settings are turned off. The thing that puzzles me is that - as you say - it woke up at 10:15 as it was supposed to, but then 19 seconds later, the Myth shutdown process ran again: 2020-07-12 10:15:19.538572 I [16271/17667] Scheduler sched...

Re: Myth Shutdown Shortly After Waking

Has no-one else had this issue? Guess I'll have to dive into the code to see what's happening.

Myth Shutdown Shortly After Waking

Hello: I've been configuring shutdown on my system (macOS 10.12, MythTV 29.1ish) on and off for quite a while - and it's mostly working now. However I'm finding that it goes to sleep shortly after waking for a recording - causing the recording to fail. I've got the following set: In MythSetup: - Wak...

Re: Some Recordings Fail

I'm going to give it a go Ok - I've had Use HD HomeRun for active EIT scan enabled on one tuner for the last 14 hours, and I can see in the tuner logs that it's been doing stuff almost continually during that time. So I tried recording one programme whilst watching another from a different multiple...

Re: Some Recordings Fail

Hi: <Grrr - just typed up a big post, and then the forum logged me out before posting it!> Update: Set max recordings to 3, scheduled 3 recordings at the same time on 3 different local channels and got a "conflict". Two is the limit on my setup apparently. I have a HDHR4-2US device. I don't know how...

Re: Some Recordings Fail

Hi: Many thanks for chiming in - much appreciated. Your 1st screenshot shows 12 tuners...I would expect only 2 tuners. I only have 2 tuners defined - but set for a maximum of 6 recordings in the Input Connections section. Uncheck the box for "Use HD HomeRun for active EIT scan". Ah yes - now this is...

Re: Some Recordings Fail

Hello again: Unfortunately I had the same issue again on the same programme last night too... Looking at the system status now, there's definitely something amiss with tuners being held onto - here's what MythWeb says: https://pasteboard.co/IXhSa0b.png But the HDHR Tuner Status says otherwise: https...

Some Recordings Fail

Hello: I apologise in advance - this is all going to be a bit vague. But I hope with the guidance of some more knowledgeable folks, I'll be able to provide some more concrete information... I have a problem with some programmes randomly not recording; possibly related, every so often I find that my ...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Ok - stand down everyone. I'm an idiot... It seems I had modified the default record rule to enable Schedule Options > Schedule Filters > High Definition. Then when I attempted to schedule recordings on SD channels, it couldn't find a match... Now that I've disabled the filter, scheduling is ...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi: Is it worth me getting rid of the guide data and letting it repopulate? Ok - as this is affecting even newly-loaded guide data, I reasoned this wouldn't help matters. I turned the logging up to debug, and captured the output whilst scheduling another programme - 'The Hurt Locker' on BBC TWO at 2...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Is it worth me getting rid of the guide data and letting it repopulate? Would I do this just by deleting the contents of the 'program' table in the DB?

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi: Thanks for the suggestions - I'll do my best to answer... I guess if this only effects some program listings then there must be something wrong with some of the listings. At the moment, this does appear to affect all listings now... At least, I haven't yet found one I can schedule. Do you have m...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi Bim: Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately there's nothing odd in my default rule - I suspect I haven't changed it from the, errrr, default... Here are some screenshots showing the problem with an example programme: https://ibb.co/wQ0ZKp2 https://ibb.co/whvNGF6 (Sorry - can't work out how to e...
