Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Ok - stand down everyone. I'm an idiot... It seems I had modified the default record rule to enable Schedule Options > Schedule Filters > High Definition. Then when I attempted to schedule recordings on SD channels, it couldn't find a match... Now that I've disabled the filter, scheduling is ...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi: Is it worth me getting rid of the guide data and letting it repopulate? Ok - as this is affecting even newly-loaded guide data, I reasoned this wouldn't help matters. I turned the logging up to debug, and captured the output whilst scheduling another programme - 'The Hurt Locker' on BBC TWO at 2...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Is it worth me getting rid of the guide data and letting it repopulate? Would I do this just by deleting the contents of the 'program' table in the DB?

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi: Thanks for the suggestions - I'll do my best to answer... I guess if this only effects some program listings then there must be something wrong with some of the listings. At the moment, this does appear to affect all listings now... At least, I haven't yet found one I can schedule. Do you have m...

Re: Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi Bim: Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately there's nothing odd in my default rule - I suspect I haven't changed it from the, errrr, default... Here are some screenshots showing the problem with an example programme: https://ibb.co/wQ0ZKp2 https://ibb.co/whvNGF6 (Sorry - can't work out how to e...

[Solved] Cannot Schedule Recording - Not Listed

Hi: I'm running an installation which generally works very well - but I'm having an issue scheduling a recording for tomorrow. I'm in the UK, running DVB-T on a HDHomeRun; I'm running a build of 29.1 on Mac OS X. My EPG data all looks believable. But when I attempt to schedule a recording for tomorr...

Re: Tips for Successful Channel Scan with HDHomeRun

Hello again: Done a little more digging - as far as I can with a production machine that the wife's getting tired of - and here is a bit more information and more issues on this front: After importing a scan and then doing a Full Scan in Myth, the Full Scan starts as normal for ~30 seconds - but the...

Tips for Successful Channel Scan with HDHomeRun

Hello: I'm running Myth29.1ish on macOS 10.12.6, with an HDHomeRun Connect picking up UK Freeview. I'm having troubles collecting a full set of scanned channels in MythTV - could someone please guide me as to how to do this effectively? At the moment: The HDHomeRun control panel itself is listing a ...

Re: AI1 Installer - No mythweb?

Hello,

I've just finished updating the MacPorts MythWeb Wiki; I can't test it on my main system, but on a test installation using the current installers, it looks like it works correctly.

Please let us know how you get on - good luck!

Re: AI1 Installer - No mythweb?

Hello,

I've just done a fresh install of the All-in-One installer and compared it with the Wiki - and yes, the Wiki is out-of-date compared with the installed files.

I'll try and post an updated version over the next few days.

Re: Reinstall Macports v0.27

Hi Gary:

Did you see spatula's post in viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2062#p10311 and Craig's clarification in viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2062#p10900 ?

I've had to make those changes to make my MythWeb work too.

HTH.

Re: AI1 Installer - No mythweb?

Hello, Ok - I've updated the MythWeb MacPort Wiki page. Looking back through this thread, I doubt this will help with your issues - but it will allow you to get going once you're further down the process. MacMini:~ mythtv$ sudo cp -np /opt/dvr/sbin/envvars-std /opt/dvr/sbin/envvars Password: cp: /op...

Thanks Bill - I'll look into that. An initial glance suggests that's exactly what I need!

Re: Script to export Mythtv recordings to a folder or NAS

Hello, I've had a look around, but I can't see an answer to this: is there a way to run this script (presumably as a User Job) on specific recordings that have been made, rather than as an 'applies-to-every-recording' way? I hoped there might be a key command in the FrontEnd to run a User Job - but ...
