Re: v0.29 Mythtv released

Hi Craig, After a long hiatus without myth I have tried to re-build mythtv 0.28 from macports and have found that configure thinks QT 5.10 is too old (older than 5.2): :info:configure found qmake at /opt/local/libexec/qt5/bin/qmake but version failed :info:configure got version: QMake version 3.1 Us...

Re: v0.29 Mythtv released

Hi Craig, The checksum issue is affecting me, as after High Sierra my myth backend would not communicate over ipv4 and I tried to rebuild it from macports without success because of the checksum -> no myth server. We are doing ok-ish using streaming but would like to get Myth going again. Could you ...

Re: MacPorts and Myth 0.28

Hi, I'm attempting to move from the 0.27 all in one installer to 0.28 macports build. I'm also on Sierra and Xcode 8. I got past the Qt build issue which was fixed yesterday. Now during mythtv-core.28 build I'm getting this error (copied lines out of main.log which contain mythwikiscripts only): :in...

Re: Strange new recorder failure with MythTV 0.27

Thanks - so far this seems to be working. I changed the HDHomeRun setup from fixed IP to something that looks like serial number. I also now have double the tuners visible and it can record multiple streams on one multiplex.

Cheers, Hamish.

Strange new recorder failure with MythTV 0.27

Hi, I've experienced a new type of tuner failure with MythTV 0.27 from the installer package. Of late, the things that have changed - I am running the latest Mac OSX Sierra beta, and I have also installed Plex DVR (I know, the dark side - but investigations have revealed they are a long way off havi...

Re: Recording issues with macOS Sierra beta 1

A quick update... After the first 24 hours or so this issue disappeared. Perhaps there was a process that was highly disk or CPU intensive that caused this? I ran the Black Magic tool, getting write speeds > 150Mb/s. The TBolt drive was not plugged in because doing so would kernel panic the machine....

Recording issues with macOS Sierra beta 1

Hi, I have (inadvisably) upgraded to macOS Sierra public beta 1. Apart from kernel panicking whenever I plug in my RAID thunderbolt HDD enclosure (bother), MythTV backend 0.27 now also fails at times to record to the inbuilt hard drive: 2016-07-12 14:22:23.541031 I [1237/11011] Scheduler scheduler.c...

Re: MP4 channels

Hi Dave, I recommend you investigate Shepherd for your TV guide instead of using the OTA guide, it is more reliable and better features - http://svn.whuffy.com I too am having difficulty playing the new channels on 'Watch TV' but can record and play back ok. Hoping that 0.28 will fix the issue, it s...

Re: MythTV 28.0

Hi Craig, I would like to offer to test your build of MythTV 0.28 on my macports installation. I am relatively new to mac/ports, but I have extensive experience in open source programming in linux, and running mythtv since 2006. Let me know how I can proceed if you're interested, thanks.
