If I wanted Mythtv I would not start with windows. That is pioneering work. I would start with a Linux distribution or preferably Mythbuntu 14.04 which includes version 0.27 of Mythtv. That will run both frontend and back end on the same hardware, subject to you having appropriate graphics and tune...
