[SOLVED] Disable automatic scheduling of mythfilldatabase?

Hi. How do I disable the automatic scheduling of mythfilldatabase? I want to control when it is run, and the parameters used when it runs, via a cron job. Cheers.

Re: Updating A Recording Profile

Great minds think alike. I'd already updated the recording schedules by running the following SQL: update record set startoffset="1", endoffset="1"; which appears to have worked. Not sure if there are any detrimental implications to what I've done. As you say, I didn't think manually updating the da...

Re: Updating A Recording Profile

Yeah, I have amended the "Default" recording profile but, while it changes the value for new recordings, it hasn't changed any of the existing recording schedules. I appreciate that I could go in and change every existing recording schedule manually but, as I have a lot of them, I was wondering if t...

Updating A Recording Profile

Hi. Is there an easy way to add a "Start Early" and "End Late" value to all my scheduled recordings? I thought I could simply amend the "Default" recording profile but, while it changes the value for new recordings, it hasn't changed any of the existing recording schedules. Cheers.

EITpf timing for recordings

Hi. I'm not sure if 0.28 is still on schedule (https://code.mythtv.org/trac/milestone/0.28) but, can I ask if either of the following tickets are likely to make it in? #10101 (https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/10101). Currently listed as "accepted". #10102 (https://code.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/1010...

Re: UK Atlas grabber: You must specify at least one publishe

Thanks for the reply. As you say, ideally I want to be using the PA source as the BBC source is missing quite a lot of channels. I guess I'm stuck until I can get the Atlas Admin interface to accept the changes I'm trying to make. I just wanted to check that there isn't a reason why I can't add PA a...

UK Atlas grabber: You must specify at least one publisher...

Hi. Is anyone successfully using the Atlas grabber? It appears to use the older 3.0 API and simply throws a load of: Status: 400 Bad Request (You must specify at least one publisher that you have permission to view) errors for me. eg. http://atlas.metabroadcast.com/3.0/schedule.json?channel_id=cbbB&...

Re: Addings non viewable channels to the EPG.

Many thanks for the reply. I followed the instructions to use a demo tuner and, after having to manually set the "channum" field for each channel in the "channel" table, the channels are correctly showing the EPG. Exactly what I wanted. Thanks again.

Addings non viewable channels to the EPG.

Hi. MythTV newbie here so apologies if this is a dumb question. I've successfully set up MythTV using a Freeview tuner in the UK. I also have a Sky box and, although I wouldn't be able to view any of the channels via MythTV, it would be nice if I could just look up "what's on" in the EPG. I've creat...

Re: pctv 292e tripplestick no HD channels in mythtv

Hi. First post and apologies for bumping a fairly old thread. Does anyone know if there is any progress on this as I've just bought a PCTV 292e Tripplestick without realising this limitation in MythTV. There doesn't appear to have been any update on the trac ticket (https://code.mythtv.org/trac/tick...
