Thanks, makes sense, this didn't occur to me as my backend is a full blown server and the coax cables run to the cupboard where it's located. I can see actually it could be pretty useful to have a box close to the dish and just run a network cable from there.

What benefit does SatIP give over straight DVB-S/S2 in the UK? I've been running a TBS Dual S2 card for maybe 4 years now.
