Recording atsc takes very little cpu power as long as you don't commflag or transcode them at the same time. I've had no problems recording 6 shows at time with 6 tuners. I've never used more than 2 frontends at the same time since there's only 2 of us, but a Gbit lan should support at least 4 I wo...
