Thanks, that did the trick - the backend cleaned everything up after I created some files. Nice one!

Hmm thanks, I thought it was that. Mythfrontend is able to connect so I think the config.xml is right. Don't know what's going on now. Need one of the devs to weigh in I suspect.

Well, this is strange. I checked that the correct Python bindings are being used - they are. I suffered a disc crash which has meant a few recordings have been lost. But they're still in the database.
