Re: default for recordings startoffset and endoffset

The "latest DB-Scheme" is ambiguous. Please state version and scheme. Future readers of this topic will appreciate this. The "Default" recording rule only applies to new rules. Please post the 'startdate' when you created these rule you mentioned as well: mysql> select title, startdate, startoffset,...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

@mtrax

Does the changes in mythtv v31.0-130-g016630a35c from Jan. 8th work for you?

Please add a response to the bug you opened at https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/issues/298

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

The traceback should be fixed by today's commit. See https://github.com/MythTV/mythtv/issues/298 If thetvdb.com does not return any banners, we should ignore them. However, the returned urls are still invalid and have been invalid for a long time: ttvdb.py -l en -a AU -C 74860 <images> <image type="...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

And, be aware of the python import strategy: If you have a "MythTV" folder under your current folder at the command prompt, python chooses this folder instead of the installed MythTV bindings. You should better delete these test folders or move them to an archive. Everything is already installed, ne...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

It could be a cache problem as well:
Once, an unsuccessful return of a request is cached, it stays there until the cached data expire.
Does your home router or ISP caching, too?

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

Could you try other clients, like if they display the correct coverart?

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

Hi Glad to see some progress! Your tests look good, thank you for all the effort. The improvements in coverarts retrieval of the "#-prefix" are related to the changes I and others did did on October, 11th. (within mythmetadatalookup). See http://lists.mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2020-September...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

So, the first coverart is now in English, and not Hebrew, Spanish or Portuguese. The patch seems to work. I will put all these puzzle pieces together and commit them: ttvdb_missing_coverart.patch tmdb3_coverart.patch The patch against the trace back still needs to be analyzed/tested. Thank you for y...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

The patch "myth_tmdb_v1.patch" was meant to analyze the traceback that you posted. The patch "tmdb3_coverart.patch" resolves the issue of "coverart in wrong language" Those patches do not belong to each other. And no, themoviedb.org does not apply a request rate limit any more. See https://developer...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

For the wrong coverart (i.e. wrong language) in Trance - Gefährliche Erinnerung tmdb3.py_68727 ==> Spanish ? Lakeview Terrace tmdb3.py_13279 ==> Portuguese ? Could you please try the attached patch (tmdb3_coverart.patch)? Copy the file to an empty folder: cp /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movie/tmdb3.py...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

The different sequence of named properties of an xml entry should not matter in python3 ./ttvdb.py -l de -a CH -N 164541 Beweisstücke Where is the traceback you mentioned in /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movie/tmdb3.py -l de -a CH -D 241254 Is it gone? Note: The traceback seems to occur if themoviedb d...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

Does other grab commands to themoviedb.org still work? You mentioned previously, that /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movie/tmdb3.py -l de -a CH -D 138697 works. I see, that there is a debug switch, we should use it. Please post the output of /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movie/tmdb3.py -l de -a CH -D 24125...

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

Did you delete the tmdb3 cache beforehand?

Please post the output of

Code: Select all

ls -la ~/.mythtv
ls -la ~/.mythtv/cache
ls -la /home/mythtv/.mythtv
ls -la /home/mythtv/.mythtv/cache

Re: Strange behaviour looking up for metadata

Personally, I never needed to delete the tmdb3 cache. Some dump questions: Do you have some spare storage on the /home partition? ls -la /home df -h /home df -h /home/mythtv df -h /home/$USER Delete the tmdb3 cache once again and try to fetch this multiple times: time /usr/share/mythtv/metadata/Movi...
